OVERVIEW
This landscape fabric is perfect to lay underneath your rubber mulch, wood mulch, rock, or other ground cover. It is effective for separating your ground cover from the soil, mitigating weed growth, and fostering healthy plants via exceptional water permeability.
This fabric features polyester fibers spunbond into a web-like pattern which results in un paralleled durability and strength and an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio that won't rip like cheap big box fabric. This is black colored fabric which is UV protected for longevity (grey fabrics do not have the same UV protection and will not last as long).

This fabric is perfect for both home and commercial landscaping. Great for landscaping beds, gardens, open areas with ground cover, and other curated landscaping.
HOW MUCH DO I NEED?
1 pallet of rubber mulch at the recommended depth for landscaping, 2 inches, will cover approximately 470 square feet of surface area. In general for 1 pallet or 470 sq ft of area, we recommend one (3' x 50') roll and one (4' x 100') roll. This is perfect for standard garden beds, side yard beds, etc... However your needs may be different based on how wide the area is you are looking to cover and how wide you would like your roll to be.
For larger spaces that have a wider width, you can consider one of our larger rolls which will make it easier to lay the landscape fabric down and minimize the amount of seams and overlap.
DIRECTIONS
- cut fabric as necessary
- place fabric on the ground over the soil
- overlap 3 to 4 inches at seams
- if necessary, use landscape fabric staples/pins to tack down and hold in place.
- if applicable, cut an X where plants will be planted
- if applicable, plant your plants
- apply rubber mulch or other ground cover on top of the fabric
- The pins are typically only needed for installation and it is natural for the steel pins to decompose over time as the fabric will stay put once ground cover is placed on top.
