About my Project

Converted 1/3 of lower yard (28'x44') into playground & trampoline space. Covered with 4 pallets of brown colored mulch and trimmed with stained timbers. Playground is a hand-me-down from a friend that we sanded and stained. Some new accessories (swings, rope ladder) and a sandbox rounded out the refurb effort. In hindsight, I should have trimmed with taller timbers (6x6) and put down more than the 3 inches of mulch to keep grass from growing in the mulch (even though a grass/weed block barrier was put down before). Still quite pleased and the kids all love it.
